A generalization of projective covers

Let M be a left module over a ring R and I an ideal of R. We call (P,f ) a projective I -cover of M if f is an epimorphism from P to M , P is projective, Kerf ⊆ IP , and whenever P = Kerf + X, then there exists a summand Y of P in Kerf such that P = Y +X. This definition generalizes projective covers and projective δ-covers. Similar to semiregular and semiperfect rings, we characterize I -semir...

A generalization of strongly Gorenstein projective modules

This paper generalize the idea of the authors in J. Pure Appl. Algebra 210 (2007) 437–445. Namely, we define and study a particular case of Gorenstein projective modules. We investigate some change of rings results for this new kind of modules. Examples over not necessarily Noetherian rings are given.

Projective simulation for artificial intelligence

We propose a model of a learning agent whose interaction with the environment is governed by a simulation-based projection, which allows the agent to project itself into future situations before it takes real action. Projective simulation is based on a random walk through a network of clips, which are elementary patches of episodic memory. The network of clips changes dynamically, both due to n...

New Generalization of Darbo's Fixed Point Theorem via $alpha$-admissible Simulation Functions with Application

In this paper, at first, we introduce $alpha_{mu}$-admissible, $Z_mu$-contraction and  $N_{mu}$-contraction via simulation functions. We prove some new fixed point theorems for defined class of contractions   via $alpha$-admissible simulation mappings, as well. Our results  can be viewed as extension of the corresponding results in this area.  Moreover, some examples and an application to funct...

A projective invariant generalization of the de Casteljau algorithm

A projective invariant generalization of the de Casteljau algorithm is described by using the cross ratio and an auxiliary line. We describe the implicit form of the section conics obtained by the algorithm proposed in this paper. Finally, we show how to construct specific conic sections using this approach.
